What exactly is We Got Nex’?

We Got Nex’ is a Christian youth event that combines the awesome fun of camping on the beach with inspired Bible based teaching by outstanding speakers plus great Christian music. 

When are we going?

Plan on arriving at We Got Nex around 9:00am on Tuesday June 27, 2006.  We Got Nex’ wraps up by 6:00pm.

Where is it?

The Grand Pequot Hotel Mashantucket, Connecticut

Our primary purpose for participating in We Got Nex’ is:

To grow in our relationship with God and in our relationships with each other.

A word about “Groups”:

Anytime you do something as a “group” you can not cater to everyone’s personal preferences. Every individual can not have their own way! That means that everyone going will have to give up some of their “rights” in order to do what is best for our group. Be it known unto you that I will run a tight ship! 

Our Family

In order to insure accountability, quality and safety, we have to be one family! 

Family Leaders

(Attach a list of all participants, youth and adults, divided into small extended family groups, with home and cell telephone numbers.) 

Family Meetings

• We will plan to meet as a small group in the morning of We Got Nex'

• Our family meetings will be 15 minutes long at the most

• Meetings can include prayer, questions and comments, sharing of devotionals, announcements, and good jokes.

We Got Nex’ Daily Devotions

It would be useless and ridiculous to go to a Christian event and forget about your relationship with Christ! Don’t get caught up in “Christian” activities and leave Christ out for the day. Take time to get to know God. (Create a worksheet for the day, centered around a theme such as worship, prayer, or some other appropriate subject.)

• Talk to God (5 min.) Pray!

• Let God talk to you (scripture reading 5 min.) What is God saying to you?

• Time for action (5 min.) List two steps of action you will take TODAY to obey what

God said to you.
